Privacy

We collect as little as we can, keep it in New Zealand-friendly hosting, and never sell it.

Visitors

• Your chosen suburbs are stored in a cookie on your device (and on your account if you sign in) so the site opens to your area.
• To prevent abuse we keep a one-way hash of your IP address with phone reveals, enquiries and rate limits. We never store your raw IP address. Reveal logs are deleted after 180 days.
• If you send an enquiry, we pass your name, email and message to that organisation and keep a copy so we can deal with misuse.
• Ads are counted (views and clicks per suburb, per day). We don't build advertising profiles of individuals.

Organisations

• We hold your sign-in email, organisation details and verification documents. Verification documents are private and seen only by our reviewers.
• Your contact email is never shown publicly. Your phone number is shown only when a visitor asks for it.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@joinin.nz.
